Our engineers identified an issue with certain versions of the MDS AutoUploader where an MDS batch may be marked as a duplicate during system maintenance and therefore not be automatically transmitted to CMS. This is an unlikely scenario and only affects a small group of users on version 3.2.2 of the MDS AutoUploader.
What you need to do:
- MDS nurses & clinical staff
If you are missing a final validation from a batch created and transmitted on 9-12-2010 or 9-11-2012, simply re-submit the batch and it will process in the normal time.
- IT staff
Do nothing if you are running the latest version. It is "self-healing" and will automatically resolve itself. If you are running an older version, update to the latest version (MDS AutoUploader 3.2.3) as soon as possible. The latest version is located here:

- The installation instructions are included with the install file
