Some of you may have noticed a change in the resident's profile over this past weekend. The word "Archive" has been changed into the word "Discharged". The reasoning behind this is that SimpleLTC is making stronger efforts to more closely resemble the reality of a resident's stay within a SNF. It was agreed that a more realistic category for a resident to fall into would be "Active" or "Discharged" and we felt that "Archiving" a resident is not an action that would be natural for a resident at a SNF.
SimpleLTC wishes to use natural terms for a resident's stay as a means to create a better relationship between the resident and the forms associated to them.
